Post Game Report-Braves v. Nats
Tough Break for our Braves. Except for the 1st inning, Tim Hudson pitched one heck of a game. He retired 19 straight Nationals. He pitched 7 strong innings, throwing every pitch he has, with good movement. If tonight's start is any indication of what we can expect from Tim Hudson, I can see a Cy Young at the end of season for him.
Chipper hit a home run, the 1st one of the season and also the 1st one in the new ball park of the Nationals. That was to be the only run the Braves scored until the top of the 9th, when Tex stepped up and almost cranked one out of the park himself. It turned out to be a double, Frenchy moved Prado over, who pinched ran for him, then on a passed ball by LoDuca, Prado came in to score the tying run.
Ohman had come on to pitch, he did his job. Got the guy he was supposed to get out, out. Then came the Aussie, Peter "McNasty" Moylan. Yes folks, Moylan is flat out NASTY. When you throw something at 91 and up and it breaks like his stuff does, it is pure nasty and filthy.
Moylan was still in the game in the bottom of the 9th, two outs and here comes Ryan Zimmerman, us Braves fans were thinking, extra innings, first game of the season, nice way to start. Then, it was over, Zimmerman dashed every hope we had with a Walk Off Home Run to the deepest part of the park for the win.
Moylan is the losing pitcher.
This was a hard loss for us fans to take. We head back to A-Town to face the Pirates,
Tommy G. is on the hill for opening day at the Ted.
Let's go Braves.

wow, good job tt.
Too bad we didn't win.
We played really sloppy tonight! That has to change against Ian Snell and the Pirates tonight.
